BC Juvenile Filly: Jennifer Decker
Jennifer Decker's interest in racing first manifested at the age of nine, when she was given a copy of The Black Stallion for her birthday. Four years later she watched Alysheba overcome all odds to win the Kentucky Derby, and her love for the sport was complete. Most of her life, her trade as a groom took her across the country and back again: From the wilds of Michigan, to the stock farms of Kentucky, and into the racing mecca of south Florida. Currently she resides in Tucson, Arizona; where she continues to peruse the Stakes cards on a lark, and longs for the day local government will allow online wagering in her county (if only to be able to watch HRTV).
