Although not yet as accomplished as his star former stablemate, Handsome Mike finished second in the 2011 Generous Stakes (G3), third in the 2012 El Camino Real Derby (G3) and fourth in the Haskell Invitational Stakes (G1) and Secretariat Stakes (G1) before a breakthrough stakes win in the Pennsylvania Derby (G2).
