Superfecta of Handicappers to Teach Night School Belmont Preview

Night School, the racing industry's national online fan education program, offers a free handicapping seminar for Saturday's historic Belmont Stakes in tonight's 90-minute live chat. Those attending the live chat or viewing via the archives will receive links to free BRIS past performances for the Belmont Stakes contenders, as well as Friday's stakes double, the True North Handicap and Belmont Gold Cup.The session begins at 8:30 pm ET. Students who wish to attend Night School can do so by logging on to any one of more than 40 websites throughout the racing industry that simulcasts the weekly online tutorials. There is no advance registration or sign-up required. Fans can participate in a live online chat and pose their questions to the hosts and guests in real time.

Week 14 of the 40-week season features a superfecta of top-class racing analysts with whom horseplayers can pose their questions. Joining Night School co-hosts Jeremy Plonk and Caton Bredar will be Dick Jerardi of the Philadelphia Daily News and Beyer Associates; Brad Free, west coast correspondent for Daily Racing Form; Tom LaMarra, news editor of The Blood-Horse; and Ed DeRosa, marketing director and handicapper for BRISNET.com.

Presenting title sponsors for Night School 2014 are the National Thoroughbred Racing Association, American Quarter Horse Association, Keeneland Select, Twinspires.com, The Stronach Group, Mountaineer Casino, Racetrack and Resort, Betamerica.com and Woodbine Entertainment.

Night School is offered every Tuesday for 40 consecutive weeks through Dec. 2. Fans are eligible for prizes and rewards for registering. Registration is optional and free. There is never a charge for taking part in Night School.

This week's Night School will be followed at 10:00 p.m. (ET) by the "After Night School Special," featuring live racing from Mountaineer Park. The segment will cover the evening's final race in real time with free, live-streaming video. Fans wishing to take part in the Mountaineer action simply need to remain in the Night School chat after class. Night School has added "Woodbine Wednesdays" to the weekly tutorial offerings. The full-card live chats teach racing in real time and spotlight the entire, 8-race cards each Wednesday night, beginning at 6:15 p.m. ET
