Edited press release
The second half of the year heated up even more for America’s Best Racing ABRV when it was announced on July 1 that the tour’s RV will be sponsored by the Breeders’ Cup for the rest of the year.
The ABRV is traveling the country to attract new fans to horse racing and just finished a successful Triple Crown season that ended with the Belmont Stakes on June 8.
The six ambassadors return to the track the weekend of July 27 in Oceanport, N.J. at the Haskell Invitational for racing’s “second half”. The tour will culminate with the Breeders’ Cup at Santa Anita Park in California the first weekend in November.
“The Jockey Club and the Breeders’ Cup share a common vision about the future of Thoroughbred racing,” said Jason Wilson, The Jockey Club’s Vice President of Business Development. “This collaboration will accelerate efforts to drive sustainable growth for Thoroughbred racing and breeding and it is a great way for two industry leaders to leverage resources dedicated for the betterment of the sport and our fans.”
