Race Comments: DADDY NOSE BEST was hustled from the gate to gain a good position early then settled from the inside, raced up behind the leaders on the second turn and was blocked briefly nearing the quarter pole, shifted out to split ALL SQUARED AWAY and LADY OF FIFTY into the lane, to gain command, met a bid from LUCKY CHAPPY and outfinished that rival. LUCKY CHAPPY (IRE) was void of early speed and raced under patient handling to the final turn, circled horses quickly five wide into the lane to loom a bold factor, got to terms with the winner at the furlong pole, dueled and lost a desperate decision. HANDSOME MIKE showed good speed to duel from the inside into the stretch but slackened in the final furlong. UNVEILED HEAT raced unhurried from just off the rail to the second turn, came through inside to the stretch to offer his best bid then flattened out in the lane. RUSSIAN GREEK lagged well back from the inside early, raced four wide on the second turn trying to follow the winner but lacked the needed response. LADY OF FIFTY raced up outside after the break to stalk the pace three wide, was fanned four wide into the lane and weakened. ALL SQUARED AWAY raced up outside to engage HANDSOME MIKE for the lead, dueled to the upper stretch and gave way. ROCKINARZ RECRUIT broke very slow to fall behind and lagged, saved ground on the second turn but did not rally. SENOR RAIN was well placed from off the rail to the second turn and came up empty. CAHILL CHROME flashed speed for a half mile and gave way.
