Race Comments: DAKOTA PHONE unhurried outside then off the rail, moved up on the second turn, came five wide into the stretch and rallied under left handed urging and strong handling to wear down the runner-up late. BATTLE OF HASTINGS (GB) settled outside a rival then inside chasing the pace, waited a bit when just off the rail leaving the second turn, came three deep into the stretch, angled out in midstretch, rallied between horses, battled inside the winner in deep stretch and could not quite match that one late. ENRICHED had good early speed and pulled a bit, set a pressured pace inside, inched away leaving the second turn, kicked clear in the stretch and held third. ISLE OF GIANT'S close up stalking the pace inside, came out into the stretch, split horses in midstretch and again late and was edged for the show. MYTHICAL POWER angled in and stalked outside a rival, came out three deep on the second turn and into the stretch and lacked the needed late kick. DEAL BREAKER (GB) had speed between horses then stalked a bit off the rail, came out on the second turn and four wide into the stretch and could not summon the needed late kick. SANGAREE angled in and chased inside, waited a bit off heels when just out from the rail midway on the second turn, angled back to the inside into the stretch and lacked the necessary rally. TRES BORRACHOS had speed three deep then prompted the pace outside a rival, dropped back on the second turn and weakened. RED EYE EXPRESS (IRE) chased off the rail then outside a rival, went three deep on the second turn, came out four wide into the stretch and also weakened.
