Strengths: Long-winded filly is a proven router at the highest levels, winning the G1 Kentucky Oaks despite a horrendous No. 14 post. Trainer Dallas Stewart has done well with sophomore fillies in the past, winning the 2001 Breeders' Cup Distaff with Unbridled Elaine.
Weaknesses: Needs a quick pace and help up front to fire her best shot. Consistent, grinding closer always picks up pieces, but is not the type who shows push-button acceleration.
In The Genes: Sire, Lemon Drop Kid, won the 1999 Belmont Stakes. Dam, Critikola, was a multiple stakes winner in her native Argentina and has strong ties to several long-distance influences.
Status: Purchased at the 2007 Keeneland November sale as a broodmare prospect for $2.5 million by diamond miner Charles Fipke. She will be bred to Perfect Soul, a stallion owned by Fipke.
Bet You Didn't Know: Lemons Forever's 47-to-1 upset win in the Kentucky Oaks was the race's biggest ever – topping Lemco's 40-to-1 pricetag in 1903.
