 Silks and Media:

Strengths: G1 winner on turf and dirt has never run a sub-par race in his 12-race career. Victories in the Dubai World Cup and Juddmonte International underscore his quality, but perhaps his runner-up try to the elite Hurricane Run in the July 29 King George was his best effort of all.

Weaknesses: He was all-out to get by Brass Hat and Wilko in the Dubai World Cup, two horses that are top Grade 2-level performers in the US handicap ranks and up-and-down players in elite G1 events. He comes to America with a four-month layoff between starts. His worst career finish (4th) came in his only other trip to North America (for last year's Canadian International).

In The Genes: Sire, Red Ransom, best known for producing 2000 Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf winner Perfect Sting and G1-winning turf mare Bail Out Becky. He's a grandson of 1991 BC Juvenile winner Arazi, who stole the show at Churchill Downs.

Biographies on jockeys, trainers and owners are from the Breeders' Cup World Championships events from 2001 through 2009, and are intended as informational resources. Biographies will be updated if an individual is again a participant in the Breeders' Cup World Championships.

Biographies are available for most horses appearing in the top 100 money earnings list, and/or for those who are frequently making headlines in the news starting with the 2006 Triple Crown season.
