Silks and Media:
Strengths:
Pedigree to be good early in life and to handle long distances. Ran neck-and-neck with a more experienced rival in the Futurity at Belmont in only his second lifetime start.
Weaknesses:
Only has two sprint starts to his credit so far and has not had the chance to develop his professionalism. Lugged in during his debut win at Saratoga.
In The Genes:
From the first crop of young sire, Came Home, winner of the Santa Anita Derby and Pacific Classic. Came Home finished seventh in 2001 Breeders' Cup Juvenile and 10th in the 2002 Classic. First foal out of stakes-placed mare Queen's Legend, runner-up in Keeneland's 1-1/2 miles Dowager on turf.
Bet You Didn't Know:
Trainer Nick Zito is 0-for-8 in the Juvenile all-time, but has second runner-up Acceptable and third-place finisher Sun King.
NOTE:
Stats include North American and selected international races.
