Strengths: Proved her mettle when winning five group races, including her final start, the Prix de l'Opera at Longchamp.
Status: Sold at the 2007 Tattersalls December mare sale. Purchased by Sheikh Mohammed, she brought $6,973,410, a European auction record for a mare in training.
In The Genes: Sire, Muhtathir, was fifth in the 2000 Breeders' Cup Mile for Godolphin and was winner of the G1 Prix Jacques le Marois in France. Fourth, and most productive, foal to race out of US-bred mare Tolga.
Bet You Didn't Know: Satwa is an area within the city of Dubai in the UAE, best known for its shops and eateries.
