Strengths: Long-winded filly has proven herself at distances up to 10 furlongs on the grass in both Europe and the United States. Trainer Patrick Biancone developed her into one of his best.
Status: Retired in the fall of '07, she was purchased by Darley for $3 million at the Fasig-Tipton November mixed sale.
In The Genes: Sire, El Prado, produced 2005 Breeders' Cup Mile winner Artie Schiller, as well as top horses like Borrego, Kitten's Joy and Medaglia d'Oro. Dam, Siempre Asi, is an unraced daughter of Silver Hawk.
Bet You Didn't Know: Loosely translated, Asi Siempre means “always this way” in Spanish.
