Qualified for the Emirates Airline Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf via a victory in the First Lady Stakes on October 6, 2007 at Keeneland, one of the Breeders' Cup Challenge series races.
Strengths: Well-traveled, she handles any course and travel thrown her way, and has kept the most impeccable company lines you can in American distaff grass racing. She’s been successful attending the pace as well as making a deep run, though the latter seems her most vibrant move.
Weaknesses: Based on her dam-side pedigree and her proven past performances, it’s reasonable to argue she’s best at 1 mile to 1-1/16 miles, where she can unleash a quick burst vs. a sustained run.
In The Genes: Daughter of pensioned sire Lear Fan, best known for producing 2003 Breeders' Cup Turf dead-heat winner Johar, as well as millionaires Ryafan, Windsharp and Labeeb. First foal of the Valid Appeal mare Appealing Storm, who was a $40,000 claimer during her racing career. From the female family of legendary mare Serena's Song.
Status: Filly will be sold the day after the Breeders' Cup at the Fasig-Tipton November Breeding Stock Sale.
