Strengths: Trainer D. Wayne Lukas is the most prolific trainer of young horses in the history of the game and this well-bred colt possesses a fantastic early turn of foot.
Weaknesses: Has to prove he can harness his speed at the elite levels and hold on for more than the minor awards. Sons of Fusaichi Pegasus tend to be a bit high strung mentally, which means that could be a factor throughout his career.
In The Genes: Sire, Fusaichi Pegasus, won the 2000 Kentucky Derby in brilliant style. He finished his career with an off-the-board run, however, in that fall's Breeders' Cup Classic back at Churchill Downs. As a young stallion, off to a fast start producing the likes of millionaire Roman Ruler, G1 Bluegrass winner Bandini and graded winner Andromeda's Hero. Dam, Ride the Wind, was a stakes-placed runner who bagged more than $100,000.
