 Silks and Media:

Strengths: Long-winded sort keeps plugging away for the minor awards even when victory is out of reach. Veteran has won a graded stakes at ages two, three, four and five.

Weaknesses: Inconsistent, winning just 1 of 7 starts each of the past two years, going through a 9-race losing streak at one point in her career. Four worst races of her career came in her four starts outside of California.

In The Genes: Sire, Wild Rush, was beaten favorite in the 2000 BC Sprint at Churchill during a year in which he won the G1 Met Mile. Grandsire, Wild Again, won the inaugural BC Classic in 1984. Dam, Wife for Life, was a listed stakes-placed earner of more than $90,000.

Status: A four-time runner in the Breeders' Cup, the closest she got was fourth in the 2002 Juvenile Fillies. She produced her first foal on Feb. 13, 2008, at Hill 'N' Dale Farm in Lexington. The dark bay or brown colt is by Storm Cat, who Hollywood Story will be bred back to this season.

Bet You Didn't Know: Owner George Krikorian is one of America's foremost movie theater owners, hence the horse's name.
