 Silks and Media:

Strengths: Bred for speed top and bottom and could really take to Churchill Downs based on his sire. In the hands of a master horseman in Bill Mott and has big-field experience early in his career.

Weaknesses: A question mark around two turns, he may be best-suited long-term as a late-running sprinter at 7 furlongs or 1 mile. Offered little in the Champagne in his first foray into the big-time ranks.

In The Genes: Son of Distorted Humor, who set the Churchill Downs track record for 7 furlongs. As a sire, best known for producing 2003 Kentucky Derby/Preakness winner Funny Cide. Third foal out of the iron mare Theresa's Tizzy, a 15-time race winner and G3 sprinter from California.

Bet You Didn't Know: Owner Ahmed Zayat's business boom came when his Egyptian beverage company began distributing non-alcoholic beer.

Biographies on jockeys, trainers and owners are from the Breeders' Cup World Championships events from 2001 through 2009, and are intended as informational resources. Biographies will be updated if an individual is again a participant in the Breeders' Cup World Championships.

Biographies are available for most horses appearing in the top 100 money earnings list, and/or for those who are frequently making headlines in the news starting with the 2006 Triple Crown season.
