Strengths: Improving veteran has placed twice in Grade 2 company since summer against top-class horses Miesque's Approval and Ashkal Way. Versatile style and natural speed allows him to factor on and off the pace.

Weaknesses: Has yet to win a stakes race in 7 career added-money attempts.

In The Genes: Half-brother to top distaff turf mare Bedanken, a graded winner of more than $250,000. Son of 1990 Breeders' Cup Classic and Kentucky Derby winner Unbridled, who has produced BC champions Unbridled's Song and Anees (Juvenile) as well as Halfbridled (Juvenile Fillies).

Bet You Didn't Know: Free Thinking mirrors 2005 BC Mile winner Artie Schiller in that both lost the Kelso by a head as the runner-up.
