Earned a spot in the Breeders' Cup Sprint via a Breeders' Cup Challenge victory in the Pat O'Brien Handicap at Del Mar on Sunday, August 24, 2008.
Strengths: Truly dominant when on his best against lower-graded stakes competition. Well-managed horse can be pointed toward a goal and produce a big effort. Traveled all over the country and has not ducked any challenges, running well over multiple circuits and distances. Supremely bred, the full brother to Dreaming of Anna has won over dirt, turf and all-weather tracks.
Weaknesses: Failed miserably to make any impact in his two prior Breeders’ Cup attempts on a national stage, beaten 11 lengths in the ’06 Sprint and 25-1/2 lengths in the ’07 Dirt Mile. But he’s never been a great dirt horse, so it’s might be more of a question of surface than competition in those regards.
