Strengths: Strong finisher has the ability to take his game to many circuits and surfaces, proving himself at the highest level when third in the 2007 Breeders’ Cup Classic on a sloppy track at Monmouth. Graded stakes-placed on dirt, turf and synthetics, he has held strong company lines dating back to 2006.

Weaknesses: Inconsistency has marked his career, flashing brilliant strides one race making a handicapper think he’s moved to the top ranks, then failing to close the deal in races where he appears to hold the edge. Deep closer can be compromised by a slow pace and traffic given his style.
