- Family: wife Cincy, son Craig, daughters Michelle, Carrie and Aimee ... Cincy handles the stable books, Craig is a trainer, Aimee is an assistant trainer to her father and trains a couple of horses on her own and Michelle, a former trainer, operates a lay-up facility near Shelbyville, Ky.
- Racing Background: Grew up on Four D Ranch, a breeding farm near San Jose, where Silky Sullivan stood at stud … Worked under Buster Millerick and Noble Threewitt before going out on his own and winning with his first starter, My Thief, at Bay Meadows in 1967 … Owned and operated Rancho Rio Vista in Atascadero, Calif., for 15 years until 1984, when he returned to the track to train
