  • Born: April 14, 1987 in Renton, Wash.
  • Residence: Azusa, Calif.
  • Family: Single.
  • Through Oct. 5, 2008, Baze ranked 37th in the nation with $4,648,544 in earnings and 82 wins from 711 starts. He won at a 12% clip, while finishing in the money 35% of the time.
  • Top mounts in 2008 included Georgie Boy (G2 San Felipe Stakes), Harlene (Cal National Show Chief Stakes), Mr. Wolverine (TVG Khaled Stakes), and Salute the Sarge (San Miguel Stakes).
  • A rising star on the Southern California circuit, Baze took the 2007 riding titles at Hollywood Park spring/summer and Del Mar meets ...wins at Del Mar included six stakes.
