Silks and Media:

Status:: Injured during the Alysheba Stakes at Churchill on the Oaks undercard, Chelokee underwent surgery the following week to repair the ligaments in the bottom of his right front ankle. His chance of recovery was 60-40 according to Dr. Larry Bramlage at Rood and Riddle Equine Hospital in Lexington, where the surgery took place, and where Chelokee will remain for the duration of his recovery.
