 Silks and Media:

Qualified for the Emirates Airline Breeders' Cup Distaff via a victory in the Juddmonte Spinster Stakes on October 7, 2007 at Keeneland, one of the Breeders' Cup Challenge series races.

Strengths: She’s won on dirt, turf and synthetics at distances ranging from six furlongs to 10 furlongs, and has won four of her last five starts overall previous to the Breeders' Cup, including the G1 Spinster over the Keeneland Polytrack. Dream 2007 also includes wins in the G1 American Oaks over the Hollywood Park turf and the G2 Black Eyed Susan over the Pimlico dirt.

Weaknesses: The connections aren’t quite sure what her best game is. She’s never defeated top-class competition on the main track, while her two worst races have come over traditional dirt surfaces.

In the Genes: By the multiple graded stakes-winning $1.5 million earner Include, who finished seventh in the ’01 Breeders’ Cup Classic. He sired two previous Breeders’ Cup starters, both of whom ran in the ’06 Juvenile Fillies (Cash Included, fifth; She’s Included, sixth). Her dam, Adventurous Di, was minor stakes-placed, and three of her four wins came on grass.

Status: Did not compete in the Breeders' Cup after coming up with unsatisfactory numbers in her bloodwork ... After finishing third in the Falls City Nov. 22, she will get a break and resume training in '08. With a torn suspensory, it was announced in May that she'd retire and be bred in 2009.

Bet You Didn’t Know: The Distaff winner has exited the Spinster at Keeneland ten times, the most of any prep race in any Breeders’ Cup division, but the last Spinster winner to take down the Distaff was Inside Information in ’95.
