Earned a spot in the Breeders' Cup Marathon via a Breeders' Cup Challenge victory in the Turfway Fall Championship at Turfway Park on Saturday, September 6, 2008.
Strengths: Battle-tested against some of the biggest names in the sport, he relished the Marathon’s trip in his first attempt in the Turfway Fall Championship. A winner from 1 mile to 1-1/2 miles, he’s traveled the nation with success, carried significant weight and won on turf, dirt and all-weather tracks.
Weaknesses: Swings wide in nearly every start and must be better than the field to give away that much ground and be successful. Deep-closing style has left him inconsistent, though he has been able to win without significant pace assists.
