Earned a spot in the Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf via a Breeders' Cup Challenge victory in the Diana Stakes at Saratoga on Saturday, July 26, 2008.
Strengths: Extremely patient and smooth galloper, she takes her cues when called upon and can produce a striking move from the back of the pack. Though a relative newcomer to the Filly & Mare Turf’s elite ranks, she quickly proved her class against many of the division’s heavyweights. Despite a deep-closing style, she’s no plodder, having narrowly missed in the seven-furlong Grade 2 Beaumont on Polytrack.
Weaknesses: She had yet to race beyond 1-1/8 miles heading into her 2008 Breeders’ Cup Filly & Mare Turf engagement, and it could be debated that visually her mile races are her most impressive performances. Struggled to get good footing on a yielding course at Woodbine, so may be a bit sensitive to her courses.
