Earned a spot in the Breeders' Cup Mile via a Breeders' Cup Challenge victory in the Del Mar Mile Handicap at Del Mar on Sunday, August 24, 2008.
Strengths: He’s the rare, pure miler in American racing who has had to adapt his game to a stakes schedule that is loaded with races at a bit longer distances. Superior finisher at a flat mile who has been able to win from anywhere on the racetrack – inside, between horses, sweeping wide.
Weaknesses: Does not own world-class company lines to date, having only a handful of starts since leaving the 3-year-old restricted ranks in 2008. Went amiss physically after last year’s Sir Beaufort Stakes debacle and has been softly managed leading up to the Breeders’ Cup.
