Earned a spot in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf via a Breeders' Cup Challenge victory in the Pilgrim Stakes at Belmont Park on Wednesday, October 1, 2008.
Strengths: Impeccable pedigree by Elusive Quality of out star mare Megan’s Bluff, a multiple graded winner of nearly $750,000. He’s a proven commodity over a distance of ground, winning at 1 mile and 1-1/16 miles to open his career. Solid race finisher.
Weaknesses: Pilgrim Stakes time was vastly slower than the fillies went in the same-day Miss Grillo Stakes at Belmont. While he has routed, the Breeders’ Cup will pose his first true, two-turn test. Has raced exclusively on one circuit to date and only on grass.
