Earned a spot in the Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint via a Breeders' Cup Challenge victory in the Nearctic Stakes at Woodbine on Saturday, October 4, 2008.
Strengths: Consistent dasher has a press-and-pounce style that puts him right into the race and finish with flair. Does not need the lead, and can stalk good horses. Well-traveled runner has handled every course/venue thrown at him. Veteran can stretch his speed as far as 1-1/8 miles against the right level of competition. Has handled big fields and can dominate lesser rivals when the chance is posed.
Weaknesses: Few knocks can be found since moving to the turf sprint ranks in the spring of 2008. After missing more than a year, he returned in 2007 to have a long, 11-race campaign and has added another long season in 2008 from early spring to the Breeders’ Cup. Mix-it-up style can put him in tight spots, not spurting clear and not looping the field.
