Silks

Strengths: Impeccable bloodlines include champion sprinter and elite 2-year-old Smoke Glacken on top and a female Phipps family that includes grand dam Heavenly Prize, Good Reward, Pure Prize and Dancing Forever. Has made all the natural rises in class and distance you’d expect from a top 2-year-old and finishes her races with the appearance of wanting more.

Weaknesses: Slow to gain stride, she has been sent wide in her one-turn races and lost valuable ground from the back of the pack. Has yet to attempt two turns and could be susceptible to a poor post draw by losing ground on both turns if not taken completely back out of the mix. Must prove she can handle surfaces other than traditional dirt and be able to travel away from home.
