Silks

Strengths: Locally based runner has experience edge over the Santa Anita surfaces and comes into the Breeders’ Cup with improving form all season long. Sire Unusual Heat has been a prolific producer to all-weather surface runners on the west coast.

Weaknesses: Has raced primarily in overnight races and California-bred restricted stakes, while never testing the graded-stakes ranks. Yet to carry top weights against stakes company and most often settles for the minor awards.
