Silks

Strengths: His tactical speed allows him to dictate where he is placed in the race and can avoid a lot of trouble by being used early if need-be. He possesses exceptional company lines, canvassing the country with success and meeting world-class competition. Can dominate inferior competition and put away horses when presented the chance.

Weaknesses: The vast majority of his races have been against short fields, where his pace-owning presence has been easier to dictate to the opposition. When hooked to run faster earlier, he’s been softened up against quality competition. Fairbanks has not been assigned significant weight against top-class rivals. Unsuccessful on turf and untried on synthetics, all of his accomplishments have been achieved on dirt.
