Strengths: Unquestionable class, winning the English classic St. Leger in 2006 at 1-3/4 miles, beating the likes of Red Rocks. A true, worldwide stayer, he has had numerous successes at 1-1/2 miles and beyond. Successfully toted 131 pounds in stakes company, and has had superb company lines throughout his career while being magnificently spotted later in his career. He boasts a wonderful pedigree by G1 English/Irish Derby champion Galileo and out of G1 English Oaks heroine Love Divine.
Weaknesses: Dwelt at the start of some of his recent races, but was classy enough to overcome that in Group 3 company on turf. How will that impact his chances if it reoccurs on a fleet Pro-Ride surface? Unproven outside of his British homebase, he’ll have to show he can handle travels rigors and climate changes.
