Strengths: Full-brother to top-class Value Plus, his “unknown” is as consistent a racehorse as you’ll find anywhere, a remarkable trait for a sprint specialist. Does not back away from a dogfight when challenged or being the challenger, and he can extend his tenacity up to a mile on dirt, turf or synthetic tracks.
Weaknesses: Given his Midwestern roots, he’s not been asked to carry top-class handicap weights as he will in the Breeder’s Cup Sprint at an equal pull with his rivals. Yet to compete at the highest levels in Grade 1 company, though he upended ’07 BC Sprint third-place finisher Talent Search in a Grade 3 showdown.
