Strengths: World-class Group 1 competitor at ages 2, 3 and 4, he’s lightly raced and freshened even for late in the season. Capable of consistent, monster performances, indicated by Racing Post Ratings in mid to upper-120s like clockwork. Company lines are second-to-none, having faced and often beaten many of the world’s best. The ‘07 Irish Derby winner is an absolute fit for 12 furlongs on grass.
Weaknesses: Has been a bit prone to leaving his best race in his prep, not the end-game goal. Culprit in his losses has been tendency to be one-paced through the stretch, albeit against the world’s very best runners.
