Strengths: Classy individual has kept strong company lines in recent seasons, facing some of the west’s very best in the sprint, grass and handicap ranks. Fleet from the gate, but can extend that speed to 1-1/16 miles in graded stakes company with the proper rationing of speed. Handles the downhill turf course at Santa Anita extremely well, giving him an edge in his Breeders’ Cup dreams.
Weaknesses: Not a pure sprinter, when he faces sprint-type speed, he’s susceptible to melting at distances shorter than he’s already achieved success. Does his best when able to relax early and finish in turf sprints, but post positions and his keen early interest don’t always cooperate.
