- In 2007, Court rode 83 winners from 864 mounts and had earnings of $3,890,891.
- Had three Breeders’ Cup mounts. His first was Chorwon in 2001, a sixth-place finisher in the Turf. Last year, rode Malt Magic to a 12th -place finish in the Juvenile and Quick Little Miss to a 10th place finish in the Juvenile Fillies.
- Top mounts of 2007 include Super Freaky (La Habra and Providencia Stakes, placed in G3 Senorita and G2 Honeymoon Breeders' Cup Handicap), Sailors Sunset (G3 Los Angeles Handicap, Vernon O. Underwood)
- Grew up in Ponce Inlet, Fla. and began riding career at Centennial Park, a now-defunct track in Colorado in 1980. His first winner was Nevada’s Hope.
- Leading rider in Birmingham in 1987 ... Leading rider at Ellis Park from 1987-91 ... Rode in Louisiana for 12 years before leaving for Kentucky and Indiana in 1995 ... Was king of Hoosier Park after the Indiana track’s 1995 opening; he was leading rider there from 1996 to 1998. In 1998, he twice rode six winners on a single Hoosier Park card ... Won the riding title at Oaklawn Park in 2000
- Notched his 2,000th career victory on Sept. 20, 1999, at Kentucky Downs aboard Solvig. His 3,000th victory came on April 7, 2005, aboard Brite Lorelei at Santa Anita, 25 years to the day after riding his first winner at Centennial Park.
- Won 2002 Indiana Derby aboard Perfect Drift, the only time he rode the well-traveled gelding.
- Most prestigious race won was aboard Fleetstreet Dancer in the 2003 Japan Cup Dirt. Also the regular rider of Excessivepleasure, winner of the Iowa Derby and Indiana Derby as well as third-place finisher in the 2004 Godolphin Mile at Nad al Sheba. Rode Leroidesanimaux to victory in the 2004 G1 Citation Handicap, the G3 Inglewood Handicap and the Morvich Handicap. Also won the 2005 G1 Frank E. Kilroe Mile Handicap with Leroidesanimaux, voted an Eclipse Award for 2005 as champion Male Turf Horse.
- Court moved his tack to California in 2004 after winning riding titles at many midwest tracks. Trainer Doug O’Neill played a key role in convincing Court to move west.
- In January 2004, won the Sunshine Millions Filly and Mare Turf aboard Valentine Dancer at Santa Anita. Court repeated the victory with her in the 2005 edition of the race at Gulfstream Park.
- Rode Cambiocorsa to seven of her eight consecutive wins on the downhill turf course at Santa Anita. The streak began in 2005 on Nov. 3 at Oak Tree and continued through Sept. 27 of 2006. The popular Cambiocorsa was known as "Queen of the Hill" and Court rode her to victory in the 2006 Irish O'Brien Stakes and G3 Las Cienegas Handicap at Santa Anita.
- Court was elected secretary of the Jockeys’ Guild in 2006 and re-elected for 2007. Also serves as Jockeys’ Guild representative board member of NTRA Charities-Permanently Disabled Jockeys’ Fund.
- Tragedy struck when Court's brother, James, was killed by a motorist while riding a bicycle near Orlando, Fla., in October of 2006.
- Was the recipient of the 2007 George Woolf Award. "Just to be part of such an elite group of riders is far beyond any honor I could ever imagine achieving," said Court, about being the 58th jockey to be voted the award. It is named for the famed rider who died shortly after a 1946 racing accident at Santa Anita.
- Wife, Krystal, is the niece of Hall of Fame jockey Earlie Fires. As hobbies, Court enjoys archery and riding his Harley motorcycle.
