Player Bio

Vincent Depalo A.K.A Jimmy Depalo currently resides near his hometown in Franklin Square, New York. Born in the late 60`s Jimmy grew up playing kick ball, waffle ball, stick ball, and other sports with his friends on the streets and parks of Long Island. Jimmy`s dad frequently to him to Belmont Park & Aqueduct as a child which is where Jimmy grew a fondness for horses and gambling. It`s been said the Jimmy learned how to read the racing form before he learned how to read. Now happily divorced, Jimmy has 2 beautiful children ages 14 & 12 that he is extremely proud of and vigorously adores! Jimmy graduated St. Johns University in 1992 with a Bachelors Degree in Finance and currently works in management in the telecommunications industry in New York City. Jimmy has been following sports is whole life, in 7th grade started running football grids for his older brothers friend, then by 10th grade his workshop teacher hooked him up with a local bookmaker. Through the years Jimmy has been through many highs and lows wagering on all sports and horse racing. It wasn’t about to the age of 30 that Jimmy felt the one sport he can profit on and handicap with some confidence is Horse racing. That’s when he started only wagering on horses exclusively. Over the last decade Jimmy found his part-time hobby to become quite rewarding. The past 3 years Jimmy has identified a mythology that and has recorded his Jimmy won the Whitney Handicapping Challenge in 2020, finsihed 2nd in the Gotham Challenge in 2021, 4th in the Pacific Classic Challenge in 2020 and hit the Late pick 5 on Breeders cup day 2020 for $87,000. Jimmy just finished 45th out of 643 entries in the 2022 NHC with 1 entry in just his second year in the contest. Jimmy is determined and confident to have an outstanding year and knows he will win the BC Challenge or NHC in the near future.
