Mystik Dan, ridden by Brian Hernandez, Jr and trained by Kenny McPeek, won the 150th running of the Kentucky Derby in a three-way photo finish at odds of 18-1. Hernandez and McPeek teamed up to win the 150th Kentucky Oaks the day before with Thorpedo Anna.
