Remember Ak-Sar-Ben or Louisiana Downs?We used to go a lot when I was a kid.Things have changed quite a bit in horse racing since then.A lot of good and bad but the challenge has always been super.Especially the NHC Tour.Ive been handicapping since I was 12 years old.I remember asking dad to put 2 Dollars to win on a horse that day he went to Louisiana downs in 1976.The horses name was Skip Around.He won and paid 262.00 to win.Still get that gut feeling occasionally on a horse.
