1986 Trainer Woody Stephens won his fifth conesecutive Belmont Stakes when he saddled Danzig Connection to victory. Stephens won his previous races with Conquistador Cielo (1982), Caveat (1983), Swale (1984) and Creme Fraiche (1985).
