LEXINGTON, Ky. (Tuesday, September 8, 2015) – A free online qualifier for the $2.5 million (estimated) Daily Racing Form/NTRA National Handicapping Championship (NHC) presented by Racetrack Television Network and Treasure Island Las Vegas is set for Sunday on www.NHCQualify.com. It is the fourth in a series of five free online qualifiers this year open to all NHC Tour members and presented by the National Thoroughbred Racing Association (NTRA).

The top four finishers in Sunday’s contest will receive paid berths into the world’s richest and most prestigious handicapping contest. The four qualifiers also will receive roundtrip air travel (up to $400) and four nights of hotel accommodations for their trip to NHC 17, Jan. 28-30, 2016, at Treasure Island.

Sunday’s free contest requires players to place mythical $2 win and place wagers on 10 designated contest races. The mandatory races will be posted online by tournament officials Thursday. Selections may be made beginning Friday, after official program numbers have been assigned. Free Daily Racing Form past performances for the tournament races will be available at the contest site. The four players amassing the highest number of points based on the players’ earnings (i.e. the highest final bankroll) from all mythical $2 win and place wagers at the end of the competition will receive berths to NHC 17.

In all, a total of 20 seats to the NHC will be awarded to NHC Tour members qualifying in 2015 free tournaments. The fifth and final free qualifier is scheduled for Oct. 10, a Saturday, at www.HorseTourneys.com.
