I create my own handicapping figures which are based on my Market Behavior Analysis models. Those models look to identify Richly Priced and Deeply sold market conditions. My handicapping figures differ from speed figures as they attempt to identify a horses' running pattern instead of a time they ran a race in against a variant. This helps identify a horse's true odds in a race and the likelihood of their ability to repeat a recent effort. Depending on the surface, the handicapping figures take multiple factors into consideration including pace, positioning, and speed of a horse and the race.
