After foaling her 2nd filly by Bernardini at Stonestreet, Rachel Alexandra underwent emergency surgery at Rood and Riddle Equine Hospital after signs of excess fluid in her abdomen. Her filly returned to the farm and a nurse mare named Miss Beautiful Ojos.
