LEXINGTON, Ky. (Thursday, September 18, 2014) – A series of online videos promoting reigning two-time Horse of the Year Wise Dan as “The Most Interesting Horse in the World” debuted this week on AmericasBestRacing.net. A new video will be released each Wednesday through Nov. 5.

The first installment of “Wise Dan: The Most Interesting Horse in the World” can be accessed at: http://www.americasbestracing.net/en/the-latest/news-stories/2014/9/17/wise-dan-the-most-interesting-horse-in-the-world-no-1.

The video is also available on YouTube: http://youtu.be/kB52QWkEC90.

Wise Dan, a 7-year-old gelding bred in Kentucky, has won 22 of his 30 career starts, including the last two runnings of the $2 million Breeders’ Cup Mile. His career earnings amount to $6,952,920. Trained by Charlie LoPresti for owner and breeder Morton Fink, the veteran is currently pointing to the Oct. 4 $1-million Shadwell Turf Mile (G1) at Keeneland Race Course in Lexington, Ky.

Wise Dan has won all three of his starts in 2014. In May he required emergency surgery for colic but returned on top of his game last month with a gutsy win in the Bernard Baruch Handicap (G2) at Saratoga Race Course in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.

The ABR video series was the brainchild of NTRA Vice President of Communications Stephen Panus, who co-wrote the scripts with America’s Best Racing Senior Manager of Digital Media Penelope Miller. Each segment is filmed and edited by Lexington-based videographer Greg Charkoudian.
