Aboard Sunny’s Halo, jockey Eddie Delahoussaye became the last rider to win consecutive Kentucky Derbies. Delahoussaye had ridden Gato Del Sol to a 21-1 upset in the 1982 Kentucky Derby. Other riders to have won back-to-back Derbies are: Isaac Murphy, Ron Turcotte and James Winkfield.
