In the last race of her juvenile campaign, Rachel Alexandra won the Golden Rod Stakes at Churchill Downs. The Medaglia d’ Oro filly would go on to an undefeated campaign at 3, inlcuding historic wins against males in the Preakness, Haskell and Woodward Stakes.
