Nelson Bunker Hunt, the Texas oilman who once tried to corner the silver market and a prominent international Thoroughbred owner-breeder, died at the age 88 in Dallas. Hunt was honored with Eclipse Awards as outstanding breeder in 1976, 1985, and 1987.
