New York, NY (Oct 23, 2015)   Daily Racing Form, in conjunction with the Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance (TAA), has published  a new annual TAA Magazine to increase awareness of the TAA’s mission and its ongoing efforts to help fund  Thoroughbred aftercare in the United States and in Canada.  The inaugural magazine is currently being distributed throughout Lexington, Ky., in advance of the Breeders’ Cup and will be available at many other key locations across the country.

The Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance Magazine, produced by Daily Racing Form and the editorial staff of DRF Breeding, is 76 color pages and highlights each of the TAA-Accredited organizations. There are currently 42 accredited organizations, with more to be announced soon.   The magazine explains the mission and functions of the TAA and how it is funded by y industry stakeholders with a low general and administrative overhead. It recognizes the many industry contributors that are sharing the responsibility of providing safe landing spots for retired racehorses. One-hundred percent of the costs to publish and distribute the magazine were underwritten by sponsor support.
