Learn More About H-2B Program Changes and Take Action

The Department of Labor (DOL) recently announced changes to the H-2B visa temporary worker program that are scheduled to take effect on April 23, 2012. These updates could have a significant impact on how those employing H-2B workers, including owners and trainers in the Thoroughbred industry, conduct business.

Congressman Rodney Alexander (R-LA) filed a resolution of disapproval of the controversial final rule that increases the costs and burdens placed on employers. To support this effort, contact your Congressperson and ask them to cosponsor Rep. Alexander’s resolution.
