NEW YORK CITY (Wednesday, July 16, 2014) – The National Thoroughbred Racing Association (NTRA) today released its Annual Report for 2013-14.

The 28-page report includes the organization’s audited financial statements. For Fiscal Year 2014 – covering the period February 1, 2013 through January 31, 2014 – the NTRA’s net revenue was $667,477, which represents a $600,627 improvement over Fiscal Year 2013 net revenues of $66,850.

The improved year-over-year results were attributed to disciplined spending reductions, as well as unprecedented growth in Advantage and Eclipse Awards sponsor revenues.

The Annual Report also includes information on the NTRA Safety and Integrity Alliance, federal legislative advocacy, NTRA Advantage, NTRA Communications, the Eclipse Awards and the Daily Racing Form/NTRA National Handicapping Championship presented by Racetrack Television Network, Sovereign Stable and Treasure Island Las Vegas.
