LEXINGTON, Ky. (Wednesday, July 15, 2015) – The National Thoroughbred Racing Association (NTRA) today released its Annual Report for 2014-2015.

The 30-page report includes the organization’s audited financial statements. For Fiscal Year 2015 – covering the period February 1, 2014 through January 31, 2015 – the NTRA’s net revenue was $93,228, which represents the third straight year of financial stability for the organization.

Examples of how the NTRA furthered its mission in the past 12 months include: the unprecedented appointment of a horseplayers’ representative (Judy Wagner) to the board of a major racing organization; a 97.6% election success rate among candidates supported by Horse PAC, the NTRA’s federal political action committee; record participation and purse money at the January 2015 Daily Racing Form/NTRA National Handicapping Championship presented by Racetrack Television Network, Sovereign Stable and Treasure Island Las Vegas; and the NTRA Advantage group purchasing program’s milestone of surpassing $700 million in sales since its inception in 2002.

The Annual Report includes information on the NTRA Safety and Integrity Alliance, federal legislative advocacy, NTRA Communications, the Eclipse Awards and the NHC, as well as the organization’s audited financial statements.
